This serene house was carved into an expansive mature lawn, that pulls away from the perimeter of the building to let native and wild plant species burst out. The house pinwheels around four different sized courtyards. South and north light are mixed inside these courtyards and two large linear skylights, simultaneously emphasizing and protecting the owner’s contemporary art collection from damaging sun.
